I was called a black panther-like beauty the other day and boy did it make my day.
I rewarded my new friend with the classic figure eight dance step at their feet and then quickly jumped up on my perch to give them a full head butting session. My sleek body causes a lot of heads to turn but my easy going, gentle personality keeps them coming back for more!
One of my favorite perches at the sanctuary is the ruby red table which allows me to completely stretch out and soak up the sun. Look for me here when you stop on by!
I am apt to be surrounded by lots of other kitties so don't be sucked into a cheap immitation.
Accept only me.
With our puppies moving on to homes of their own; it's time to turn our attention to another darling of the sanctuary; the effervescent jack russell; Kylie
Sometimes life can throw you a curve ball – just ask Kylie.
She was living high – the apple of her humans’ eyes whensuddenly a wee human arrived on the scene. Oh, oh, --that was just a little too much for little Kylie to understandand accept. Kylie, is an adorable, 9 year old Jack RussellTerrier that found herself looking for new employment as a dog companion when her humans were transferred out of state and when everyone realized she was not so fondof sharing her life with a newborn baby. Talk about a curve
So, Kylie found refuge at Caring For Creatures. She is asleek Jack Russell Terrier with a pretty face that has been basking in compliments for years.
She’s healthy, fit as a fiddle and always up for a long walk. However, Kylie is just as content helping you around the house with your chores and then crawling up into her soft, poofy bed for a nap. Don’t be put off at her 10 years of life experience –like most small breeds, Kylie most likely will live for many years to come. And, also like many others of the terrier persuasion, she has a bubbly curiosity about life and loves being the center of attention.
