Naming Caring For Creatures’s fabulous kitty of the week was anything but a challenge when she arrived at the sanctuary with her brothers and sisters last Thanksgiving. The word “Bella” means beautiful in Italian, after all, and she sure lives up to her name! As under socialized stray kittens living on their own in the woods, there is no doubt that she and her three siblings were all thankful to be at the sanctuary.

Little, petite Bella is what we call a “Tabico.” Only a year and a half old, she has soft gray fur with the pastel accents marks that literally mark her as special. If that weren’t enough, her social and friendly personality certainly set her apart. Don’t believe me? Sit down in her room and it won’t be long before a she lands emphatically in your lap, anxious to be made over and loved on.
